Als Zeichen der Verbundenheit aller Einwohner von Glenverness, wurd das alte Volkslied "Flower of Verness" durch Queen Hermione III. zur Nationalhymne erhoben. Bei offiziellen Anlässen, sowie bei Staatsakten kann auf Weisung der Krone auch der königliche Marsch "Verness the brave" gespielt werden.
Der Text der Nationalhymne ist sowohl in albernischer als auch in vernischer Sprache überliefert. Während die albernische Version die üblichere ist, wird die venische Version insbesondere von Traditionalisten oder bei besonderen Anlässen gebraucht. So sangen die vernischen Fans beim Gruppenspiel Glenverness gegen Albernia in der Vorrunde der Fußballweltmeisterschaft 2011 auf Grund des Gegners den Text in Verns.
